Essential groceries — milk, eggs, fresh veggies, canned goods and meat — for families facing food insecurity.
How it works
Available up to 6 times per year with a 30-day interval between hampers. Distributed Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to noon. Submit the online registration; a Client Care volunteer will call you to book.
Bring with you
- ✓Identification for all household members (driver's license, AB Health Care, passport, birth certificate, immigration papers)
- ✓Proof of Chestermere area address
- ✓Names, gender and birthdates of all family members
- ✓Contact email and phone number
- ✓Dietary restrictions, preferences and pet food needs
Important
- — Maximum 6 hampers per household per calendar year.
- — 30-day interval between hampers.
- — Third request in a year requires last 3 months of bank statements for all accounts plus income and basic expenses.
