The Chestermere Regional Food Bank was started in September 2007 by a handful of residents who couldn't accept that anyone in their lakeside town was going hungry. Eighteen years later, we're still volunteer-run, still local, and still convinced that food assistance should never come with a side of shame.
Today we serve 16,000+ client visits a year across Chestermere and surrounding areas, with six programs, 120+ active volunteers, and partnerships from the City of Chestermere to Community Kitchen Calgary.

Volunteers are the food bank. Pick a role, tell us a time, we'll train you. Most volunteers stay for years.
